Vediglow | Anti-Pigmentation Serum

Vedica anti-pigmentation serum is a lightweight multitasking serum that brightens dullness, reduces the appearance of skin blemishes, strengthens the skin barrier, and minimizes pores. The serum reduces inflammation and hyperpigmentation, smoothens overall skin texture, and concurrently rebuilds healthy skin cells while also protecting them from damage caused by ultraviolet rays.

INGREDIENTS’ STORY:
Licorice – Licorice extract has a skin-lightening effect that inhibits the production of tyrosinase, in turn inhibiting the production of melanin. Licorice root extract contains a compound known as glycyrrhizin, which has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. It is used to treat skin conditions like eczema and acne. Lycopene – Lycopene has powerful antioxidant action with the ability to defend skin against UV radiation. In addition, lycopene has been shown to boost levels of procollagen in the skin significantly, which has the potential to reverse skin damage caused by aging.

Niacinamide – Niacinamide or Vitamin B3 reduces inflammation, which helps ease redness from eczema and acne. It keeps skin smooth and moisturized and reduces pore size. Niacinamide helps to regulate the amount of oil the sebaceous glands produce and prevent them from going into overdrive.

Sodium hyaluronate – The key benefit of sodium hyaluronate is hydration and its ability to retain moisture in order to prevent the skin from appearing dry, rough, and flaky.

Contraindications: If topical Vitamin C (L-Ascorbic Acid and/or Ethylated L-Ascorbic Acid) is used as part of skincare, it should be applied at alternate times with this formula (ideally Vitamin C in the PM and this formula in the AM). Otherwise, Niacinamide can affect the effectiveness of Vitamin C due to changes in pH.
